Perlas works commercially under the name LILLITH — two Ls, not one. LILLITH books stills and fashion film. That activity is paid. It is not news. Commercial terms stay off the news columns. Studio is the page that discusses paid work.

What the desk will print

Field notes in Vol. I, No. 1 are composites and say so. They are a way of looking at West Hollywood and the wider city, not minutes of a night. Reported fact, when it arrives, will carry a date, a place, and only the words someone agreed to have attributed.

Moving image is limited to files with a public URL, under the title the platform already shows. Devotion stays on hold until such a URL exists. The Seroptics shelf on Vimeo is linked as a shelf.

The paper is not a tabloid and not a wire service. It is not trying to scare a room or flatter one. The seeker’s question is what the night is made of after the caption falls off. The Nightlife Report Field Desk Method is the name of that looking. The name is public. The method is not.
